Well you might have heard or might not heard about new it policy amendments that government wants to implement.
Click here to read the THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (AMENDMENT) BILL, 2018.Amongst this situation, yesterday news came that “Twitter CEO refused to be present in front of parliamentary committee and sent his technical team instead obviously committee keep their waiting and refused to meet”.
All this started with the GDPR, new data privacy policy implemented by European Union back in 2017 and imposed the huge fine on the big tech giants for not following the laws. Since then you might have came across the notifications and pop ups saying, “we have updated our privacy policy and cookie storage policy.”
These all things started the global movement of data privacy.
Organisations like privacy international, internet freedom foundation are working to spread this movement all over the world. You can follow these organisations on twitter for regular updates.
But in India, condition is not the same. Public is not aware about these laws. Such laws are been passed in the parliament and public is not aware about these. What is making this worst that no media agency/tv channel is bothering to publish the same and spread awareness among the public.
Well, now; media, the fourth pillar of democracy is just the puppet of the politicians. Another thing we can't expect from them as well
So whose job is it to spread awareness about it? Well, us only.
I urge you to read those amendments in the new IT policy.

These IT policy is presented in Rajya Sabha for approval.
Because we want privacy and we deserve it as a global citizen every Indian should have the same privacy laws as the citizens of the European union.
So let's begin this fight for the privacy.
Now as per the order of 10 agencies including RAW, IB, Income tax department and some other agencies have rights to access data on any personal computer or any other personal devices of any citizen of India.
Well this might be the first step towards implementation of this law.
Global media had criticize Indian government for this.
so let's step up and lead to the future weather data privacy is key for the lawmakers of the nation.
