Today I am writing about Social Media and youth in our India.
First of all, what is Social Media?
According to Wikipedia,”Social media are
computer-mediated technologies that facilitate
the creation and sharing of information, ideas,
career interests and other forms of expression
via virtual communities and networks.”

Social media is a platform where people from all
aspects of life come and share their views,
where distances, casts, religions do not matter.

So why this social media was introduced in our society?
Maybe to be more social?
Is this happening?
As of now, social media is medium of political influence where it is used to influence social issues, promote self-promotional posts and influencing Indian youth not to be active.
Most important fact that I want to highlight here is that
India is country of youth where youth population
is projected to be 67.2% of total population in 2021
(Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation,
Government of India).

That's going to make India, the Superpower.
The basic power to think and so as to develop is being obstructed due to social media.
Do you really think 1GB per day by Jio has affected
thinking ability of yours?
thinking ability of yours?
According to Yourstory.com, Indian smartphone users
spend on average 169 minutes per day on their device.
Have you ever thought what you have been doing
if you don’t have smartphones?
Does the absence of mobile for an hour make you
unconscious?

I think you might have been reading something, trying to learn something, trying to figure out something, and most important you would have been exploring yourself.
So I think, you should think on this.
And if you feel your dearest ones should read this,
don’t forget to share this with them as well.
