An overview of Google World!

Various Google tools are available
which can make our life more convenient.
We all possess Smartphones and
with technological networking evolutions,
most of us have 24*7 internet connection as well.
So we can use online tools like maps.
All Google Tools are Multi-platform and
can be accessed both from  PC as well as
Mobile.
Various Google products are trying to
automate our lives
and enhance inter-connectivity
between natural habits and software
executing them with the help of the Internet.
We can use:
  1. Google Drive:
  2. Google Calendar:
  3. Google Keep:
  4. Google Assistant:
  5. Google Docs:
  6. Google Sheets:
  7. Google Slides:
  8. Google Contacts:
  9. Google Maps:
Google DRIVE:
  • We can upload all our Media as well as
  • Doc files on Drive and access them
  • anywhere, anytime.
  • We can share a link to that file/folder
  • to peoples so that they can either access
  • or edit files.
  • Drive files upload limit is 15 GB for
  • General account and it can be increased
  • to 10.1 TB using unlimited storage.
Google Docs, Sheets, Slides:
  • Nowadays we are connected to internet 24*7.
  • So we can use Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Docs, Sheets, Slides are used to create
  • a word document, Excel sheets, and
  • PowerPoint presentations.
  • These are efficient as changes are saved
  • directly to Google Drive so we can access
  • files virtually from any PC, mobile or
  • any other remote PC through Gmail login.
  • Also, we need not transfer files from
  • one pc to another pc with pen drives.
  • Tools available in Docs, Sheets, Slides
  • are similar to Microsoft Word.
  • The main advantage of these is that
  • multiple people can edit, view and
  • comment on a single file at same time.
  • So I think it’s time to shift from
  • traditional word to Docs.
  • There are 3 modes  (editing, suggesting,
  • viewing)
  • GOOGLE DOCS:
  • We can get word file in 7 different
  • formats viz.word, pdf, etc.
  • Various pre-defined template sets are
  • available for eg.Resume,Letters,Reports,etc.
  • Various Add-ons are available which
  • are updated regularly.
  • So Google Docs is new generation tool
  • which we should adopt as early as
  • possible.
  • GOOGLE SHEETS:
  • Sheets has many templates as like:
  • Weekly time sheet, calendar, attendance
  • report, to-do list, etc.

  • Also, We can get excel file in 6 different
  • formats viz.excel, pdf, etc.
  • GOOGLE SLIDES:
  • Slides possess many templates like a
  • case study , photo album, yearbook, etc.
  • We can get the file in 7 formats eg.pdf,
  • ppt, JPEG images, PNG images, etc.
GOOGLE CALENDAR, KEEP:
  • Google calendar and keep are
  • multi-platform, convenient to use tools
  • which can be very useful to prepare
  • a schedule and to get notified about the
  • schedule.
  • We can add notes both on PC and mobile
  • and access to them on both platforms.
  • Also Google Assistant can notify us
  • about our daily briefings, so we need
  • not to open the calendar to see details
  • about today’s schedule.
GOOGLE MAPS:
  • Google Maps is a most efficient way to
  • navigate to different places.
  • Maps use mobile tower location for
  • location and for the precise location it
  • uses GPS(Global Positioning System).
  • While navigating it gives us
  • approximate remaining time and
  • remaining distance to our destination.
  • Also, information about Restaurants,
  • Hotels and Petrol pumps, etc. on our
  • route is provided.
  • A new feature of ‘Location Sharing’ is
  • available.With the help of which we
  • can share our location “live” during our journey.
GOOGLE ASSISTANT:
  • Assistant is basically voice interface in
  • between mobile and us.
  • Assistant can help us to do some
  • activities through voice instructions:
    • Calling a number
    • Massaging a number
    • Schedule a task
    • Schedule alarms
    • Set timers
  • Assistant can tell us about all of our
  • events in that day.You just need to say
         (”Good Morning”).
  • You can activate Assistant simply by
  • saying “OK Google!”
  • You can also have fun games like snake
  • and Lucky Trivia.
  • You can ask any query to assistant to
  • find the answer as well.
CONCLUSION:
  • Overall Google has provided us with
  • many tools which can make our life
  • more efficient.
  • We can improve our work efficiency
  • with help of these tools.
  • Finally, I would say “It’s must to have knowledge of these tools in this Digital World”.

प्रवास वर्णन... Travelogue वगैरे वगैरे... खरंतर हे प्रवासवर्णन आग्रहाने मराठी लिहावे असे ठरवले. सुट्टीहून इथे आल्यावर फिरायला जायचे आहे हे तर नक्की होतो. पण कधी हे मात्र नक्की नव्हतं. अचानक कॉल आला. संदेश होता "पाच मिनिटात Cse stairs वर ये ट्रिपचे नियोजन करायचे आहे". उत्तेजित झालेला मी लगबगीने stairs वर पोहोचलो. स्वागत तर उत्साहाने झालेच. नंतर कळाले की परवा 29 तारखेला निघायचे आहे. मग काय गाडीचे नियोजन, हॉटेलचे नियोजन सर्वकाही डोळ्यासमोर येऊ लागले. यक्षप्रश्न होता कोण आणि किती जण येणार? अथक प्रयत्नानंतर सहा जण तयार झाले. मग काय, फोन करणे सुरु होतेच. काहीजण घरी विचारत होते तर काहीजण गावी होते. संध्याकाळपर्यंत सर्वांना विचारून झाल्यावर लक्षात आले की सर्वजण directly किंवा indirectly नाहीच म्हणत आहेत. गेल्या वेळेसारखेच परिस्थिती होती. गाडी बुक केली होती १७ सीटर, यायला तयार होते नऊ जण. मग काय आदल्या रात्री ती कॅन्सल करून तवेरा बुक करावी लागली. प्रारब्ध म्हणा किंवा नशीब म्हणा, काहीही म्हणा... या सहलीत आम्हाला काका भेटले. एक अवलिया व्यक्तिमत्व. बारावीनंतर मुंबईला घेऊन पैसे कमव...

खरंच, कीव येते मला मोदी भक्तांची!

          सध्या लोकशाहीचा चौथा स्तंभ कोसळला आहे. रवीश कुमार यांच्यासारखे काही योद्धे खंबीर लढा देत आहेत. बहुतांश मीडिया सरकारची स्तुती करण्यात मग्न आहे. बिहार, आसाम मधील पूरस्थिती पेक्षा राम मंदिराचा प्रश्न आजकाल मेनस्ट्रीम मीडियाला महत्त्वाचा वाटतोय का, तर हो? उत्तर प्रदेश सारख्या राज्यांमध्ये जिथे अत्यंत बिकट अवस्थेमध्ये आरोग्यव्यवस्था आहे, तिथेदेखील सरकारची मंदिरा विषयीची भूमिका बघून खरंच त्याला समर्थन करणाऱ्यांची मला कीव येते! अशा परिस्थितीमध्ये जेव्हा दवाखाने उभारण्याची गरज आहे, तेव्हा प्राइम टाईम मध्ये "कब बनेगा राम मंदिर" असे विषय महत्त्वाचे वाटत असतील ना तर खरंच ही प्राईम टाईम बघनाऱ्याची मला कीव येते. त्यातही त्यांची चूक नाही म्हणा ते आतापर्यंत हेच बघत आहेत. पण खरच वाटत नाही का तुम्हाला, जेव्हा हनुमान चालीसा म्हटल्याने कोरोना बरा होईल अशी म्हणणारी साध्वी प्रज्ञा स्वतः AIIMS मध्ये जाते आणि दुसऱ्यांना म्हणते की हनुमान चालीसा म्हटल्याने कोरोना बरा होईल, हा इतका स्पष्ट विरोधाभास देखील दिसत नसेल का काही लोकांना? ते असो परिस्थितीची जाण असणारे काही जण बोल...

Online Courses: The boon of the Digital Era...

So how are you? well no blog post since months first of all sorry for that. Today I will tell about online education. In this digital era everything has came online you can do almost everything online nowadays. So why not study? Do you know that you can learn from Harvard and MIT professors free of cost! Why so far, even IIT and NIT professors are now available on Swayam and NPTEL. So what do you need? The laptop with internet connection. Most of us might be staying in hostel, enjoying YouTube videos (of course using VPN), playing PUBG on hostel Wi-Fi. So why we aren't going for an online course? There might be two choices either you know about it or you don't. If you know about it then it's your choice and I don't care about it. But if you don't know then this blog is specially for you. Nowadays you don't need facilitators to learn something YouTube itself is the biggest teacher.  You search for anything tons of results will appear there for you....
