FIND MY DEVICE: What if you lost your phone?

What if you lost your phone? What you are going to do? Have you ever thought about this? So “Find my device” is a tool through which you can recover your device. For this, you need to have access to Google account on your phone. Log in to your account on PC . Open “find my device” on Google. You need to re-enter your password at this stage. Oh! Obviously, you need to know your password for this. In the window, all active devices with their current status (online/offline/last seen) will be shown. Once the devices are located you can ring your phone. The phone will ring even though it’s on silent. Now if it’s not found, Don’t worry; try to lock your phone. The phone will lock and you need to enter your password to unlock it. At last, you can erase all data on your phone to maintain privacy. If the phone is not located, you lock or erase it. Google Assistant: Simplifying Lives!!!

Google Assistant is basically voice interface between mobile and us . You can carry out many tasks with help of voice commands . You can activate Google Assistant on  every Android phone by long-pressing Home button and saying “ OK Google ” New command off “ Hey Google ” is also activated now. You can know the schedule for a day saying,” What’s plan for today? " You can : Call a friend by saying “CALL XYZ”,  Send a message, Set an alarm , Set timer, Open “Whatsapp”,”Instagram”. Google Keep: An efficient task manager.

Keep is used to create, share, modify and sync your notes. You can add checklists for daily tasks list so that you can manage your daily tasks efficiently. You can add notifications for daily tasks. Also , you can add and modify Notes on PC so it’s multi-platform synchronous. You can add collaborators to your notes.Hence you can share notes with your friends or share a link for particular note in your group. Reminders can be added for notes at a particular time , place until the specified date. Images for notes can also be added in notes. You can add drawing , archive, add label and copy note to Google Docs. Notes can be classified as per different labels like inspirational, personal, work. Google Calendar: Gateway to efficient time management!!!

Google Calendar is used to schedule tasks, add reminders, plan your stuff and much more. You can enable/disable tasks, contacts, friend’s birthdays and much more. You can add collaborators for friends and family as well. Multiple calendars can be synchronised in one place. You can add birthdays of your Facebook friends on a calendar; So that u need not open facebook every time. New updated User Interface of a calendar is great!!! The Calendar can be imported/exported as per need. Density and color for each calendar can be changed so as to differentiate between them. While adding new events, you can find your time as per your schedule, add guests and video conferencing reminders as well. So to be updated all the time; Google Calendar is must use. Google Drive: Revolutionary solution online storage platform to store and share data

Drive is the online cloud storage solution provided by Google. You can store upto 15 GB files on your drive for a normal account . Unlimited storage is provided by Google for educational accounts i.e.Your account at ritindia.edu can use unlimited storage. You can sync your PC files on the drive. Folders are classified in “My Drive”,”shared with me”,”Computer”, etc. Google Photos are stored on the drive. You can upload all of your albums on Drive and sync them. You can share your drive files with friends, in the group(via Share link). Collaborators can add files in a shared folder so the group can create a database and update it regularly. New Folder, Document, Excel Sheet, Powerpoint P resentation, Forms can be created and shared with the group . You can transfer ownership for particular file/folder. So now No SSD's/ Harddisks; No fear of data loss at all and sharing files with thousands is not that much difficult!!!
